A Skin-boosting Drink (That Actually Tastes Good!)

When I know I’m about to have a day of indulgence...

I like to start my day off right with healthy, nutritious foods that leave me with a little

“wiggle room” for the feast ahead.

As a rule, this means drinking my body weight in water, squeezing some exercise in...

And drinking this skin-plumping smoothie that is chock FULL of nutrients

that erase wrinkles, smooth bumpy patches, and give your skin a radiant

glow!

But before I reveal my secret recipe, I need to tell you about the ingredients making it so

amazing for your skin and overall health...

Mangoes are loaded with carotenoids. This is the stuff that gives things like mangoes

and carrots their orange hue. But lucky for you, carotenoids do the same thing for your

skin, giving a “rosy” glow to dull, tired-looking skin.

Pineapples add a hefty dose of vitamin C, which is crucial to boosting your skin’s

collagen production. More healthy collagen means less wrinkles, fewer fine lines, and

tight, smooth skin.

Coconut water is so much more fun than plain water!

Aside from containing hydrating electrolytes, this tropical beverage fights aging with

proteins (called cytokines) that encourage new cell growth within the skin.

Oh, and don’t forget the avocado!

This fruit is full of healthy fats that keep your skin looking plump and firm. Not to

mention the heavenly creaminess it adds to the smoothie.

Yummmm...

Alright, here’s the recipe:

● 1⁄2 cup of coconut water

● 1 cup of frozen pineapple

● 1-2 frozen (or fresh) bananas

● 1 cup of frozen mango

● 1⁄2 an avocado

● 2 cups of spinach

● (Optional) 1 tbsp of ground flax seed

Toss all of the ingredients into a heavy-duty blender (weak blenders might not achieve

the extra creamy consistency) and blend ‘em up!

If the smoothie is too thick, add more coconut water.

I hope that helps brighten your day (and your skin!)
